As an authorized payment institution, under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Trine is obligated to verify the identity of everyone who wants to make an investment on the site. This is commonly referred to as the KYC (Know-Your-Customer) process.

Because of this, we need to verify your address before you can continue to invest.


Here's a short guide on how you verify your address:


1. Find a document (utility bill or similar) that contains your address, dated no longer than 3 months ago.
2. Take a photo or scan the document before you upload it on your Dashboard.
3. Once the document is uploaded, it will be reviewed and we will get back to you if anything else is requested in order to verify the address.


Some tips and tricks:

  • Make sure your document includes all information that you've entered when registering your address:

    • Your full name

    • Street / postal code

    • City

  • The document/photo is clearly readable, without any glare or blur.

  • If you send a photo of the document, make sure that the whole document and its content are fully visible and not cropped in any way.
