Paying for investments at Trine can be done through:

Direct bank payment (Trustly)

Trustly is a simple and fast online banking payments solution, enabling you, as a consumer or merchant, to make in and out payments using your bank account. If you use Trustly direct bank payment and exchange from SEK to EUR, there is an exchange fee of 0.25% on top of the daily interbank exchange rate, which can be found on oanda.com.

Trustly's limit for direct transfers is 2200 euros. Money transferred over 2200 euros will be treated as a normal transfer and will take 1-3 bank days. More information is available at trustly.com.

Unfortunately, Trustly does not work for USD payments.

UK Investors

As a result of Brexit and new regulations, we are no longer able to offer investors from the UK the option to pay with Trustly.

Card Payments

Trine does not charge additional fees for card payments; however, some banks or card providers might charge for the currency exchange from your local currency to EUR or USD. This fee varies between different banks and card providers.

Wire transfer (SEPA - Single Euro Payments Area)

SEPA transfer is a credit transfer in compliance with the European credit transfer standard. It can be used for all types of euro payments within the single euro payments area. With SEPA, sending your money within the eurozone is as easy as making your usual domestic wire transfers.

Are there any SEPA transfer charges?

SEPA transfers generally cost the same amount as a local domestic bank transfer, which means that they’re usually free. However, a small number of banks may charge you an extra fee for SEPA transfers if they also charge an extra fee to make local bank transfers within the same country. There may be an extra currency conversion fee if multiple currencies are involved. For example, if you’re sending money from your SEK account to another EU country, your Swedish Krona would have to be converted into euros. This can sometimes incur additional bank charges, so be sure to check with your bank before initiating a SEPA transfer from a different currency.

Wire Transfer USD (International payment)

Please note that some Swedish banks might not accept international transfers within Sweden. Please contact your bank if you're experiencing issues.

Wallet

If you have funds available in your Trine Wallet, you can use them to reinvest. You can find more information here: Can I reinvest?

If you wish to convert funds from EUR to USD, please read our FAQ: Can I convert EUR in my wallet to USD? Please note that the conversion service is currently not available during the weekend and other bank holidays. However, we allow for offline conversions. An offline conversion refers to a foreign exchange transaction that occurs outside of official trading hours or when the foreign exchange markets are closed.

We are always striving to find the most efficient payment options for our investors and are continuously looking to improve our offering. If you have any specific payment option requests, please head to trine.nolt.io.
